Jemstone was invited to produce a panel discussion at !BC 2012 on the impact of user-generated content on coverage of the Arab Spring. A follow-up for 2013 is planned.
THE ARAB SPRING AND ITS IMPLICATIONS FOR NEW AND MAINSTREAM MEDIA
The big annual broadcasting conference and exhibition, the IBC in Amsterdam, asked us to produce a panel discussion on the impact of user-generated content on media coverage of the Arab Spring. Many of the young people we worked with in the late 1990s are now leading figures in the new Arab world. We share their hopes and will do all we can to help and support them. There are plans for a follow-up session at IBC 2013. Contact us for more details.
